Shellie serves as Vice Chair and Co-Founder of The Breaking, bringing a heart overflowing with love for God, family, and others. She is the wife of Kevin, the proud mother of Kris, Alex, Maddy, and Chase, and—most joyfully—Gigi to her beloved grandchildren: Charlie, Ollie, Parker June, Stetson, and Sadie Jo. Family is central to Shellie’s life, and she carries each role with gratitude, devotion, and deep joy.

Above all else, Shellie is continually overwhelmed by the love her Lord has for her. That truth shapes everything about who she is and how she lives. Experiencing God’s love so personally has stirred in her a deep desire to share it freely with others—especially women walking through seasons of pain, uncertainty, or breaking.

That desire became one of the foundations of The Breaking. Shellie believes that when women encounter the love of God in a safe, authentic community, healing and transformation naturally follow. Through her leadership, prayer, and presence, she helps create spaces where women feel welcomed, known, and invited to experience God’s love for themselves.
