Laura Beth “LB” Johnson serves as the Mentorship Director for The Breaking, bringing both professional expertise and deep compassion to the community. As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), her work is more than a career-it is a calling and a spiritual gift rooted in loving people well, meeting them where they are, and walking alongside them toward hope, healing, and restoration.

With over 10 years of experience in the recovery community, LB has witnessed the powerful healing that comes through vulnerability and shared story. She believes deeply in the group process and the courage that emerges when one person bravely shares their hardship, creating space for others to do the same. Her heart is to facilitate that kind of healing—both individually and collectively-within The Breaking.

LB’s own journey has been shaped by spirit-led mentorship and the redemptive power of therapy, where she experienced God using another woman to bring her out of darkness and back to the feet of Jesus. Married for 10 years, a bonus mom to her adult step-daughter, and a proud dog mom, LB is known for her quick wit, honest heart, and authenticity. She embraces every part of who God created her to be, trusting that even her scatterbrained ADHD can be used to serve others and glorify God.
