More about Caren
Meet Caren! With over 35 years of experience in education, Caren has dedicated her life to nurturing, guiding, and supporting others—first as a kindergarten teacher and later as an academic interventionist. Teaching has always been more than a profession for her; it is a calling rooted in compassion, patience, and a deep desire to help people grow and thrive.
Caren has been part of The Breaking since its very beginning, where she courageously shares her personal testimony of divorce and recovery from codependence. Through honesty, faith, and lived experience, she walks alongside women navigating similar seasons, reminding them that healing, restoration, and hope are possible—even after deep pain.
Her heart for service extends beyond The Breaking into her church community, where she serves as a hospitality team lead, and through her volunteer work with Renewed Life Ministries Outreach. Whether welcoming others, offering encouragement, or simply listening, Caren believes God uses presence and compassion to bring renewal.
She is the proud mother of two adult sons and treasures time spent reading, traveling, attending music concerts, and serving others. Both the challenges and joys of her life continue to shape her passion for helping women rediscover their strength, identity, and purpose as God continues to write their stories.
Married for over 20 years, Becky and her husband have built a life rooted in faith and family. She homeschools their five children, viewing motherhood and discipleship as holy callings that require grace, patience, and reliance on the Lord. Becky’s journey reflects a life marked not by perfection, but by faithfulness, steadily walking with God through every season He places before her
