What is the Breaking?

Disenchantment. Hurt. Disappointment. Grief. Anger. Rejection. Hope. Redemption. Restoration. Trust.

The most intense emotions the human body can hold. Relationships destroyed. Hearts shattered. Trust run over like it is yesterdays trash.

Have I touched a nerve?

And yet... here we are. Embarking on the most beautiful of journeys with you. Yes, YOU! God led you here, and probably, only you and He know why. I truly believe a woman’s heart is the best kept secret and also the deadliest of mine field.

The Breaking was created out of real, true, and very deep places in a woman’s soul. He called us to search the in between places. The places we hide our disappointments, our “not yet”, our regrettable “yes”, and the flat out “no”. God called us to tell our story for you. For you to know that your loneliness is not the end of the story. It is where He is just getting started.

Our greatest desire at The Breaking is to destroy the lie that satan has told all of us. The lie that tells us no one else could possibly understand our story. Better yet, the lie that tells us we should have our crap together and if we trusted God we should be able to handle it. The lie that says, “Why even keep trying? Just Give UP!”

God loves you with a deep love that can e terrifying in its transparency and healing in its consistency. This is why we need each other, to remember just that. I need a woman to look at me and tell me “EYES on HIM!”. To remember that I am enough because of HIM! My responsibility to you is to do the same!

The Breaking is not just a place, but a community where your story and His story grasp hands. This community will pray for you, love you, sharpen you, ad challenge you to deepen your knowledge and relationship with Him.

The Breaking is an avenue that will encourage your story to become your testimony.
